· Direct Hire Philosophy – Our founder built our organization on the follow premise: In order to make a successful placement, we must take into consideration the corporate culture of each firm we represent. Our screening process is much more than merely matching a resume to a job description. We actually visit each and every company site prior to seeking Candidates. This step in our process is critical in that we are able to see our clients’ environment first hand. We take pride in every assignment we undertake and would rather sacrifice a placement opportunity than send under qualified or inappropriate Candidates. Dawson & Dawson Consultants are committed to providing Candidates that will not only excel at the job assigned, but will also match the company’s corporate culture. · Single point of contact Unlike many of our competitors, we operate with a single point of contact for your temporary and direct hire staffing needs. Although every Consultant participates in the recruiting efforts for all open job assignments, only one recruiter will be sending the client resumes. The Account Manager will personally screen each potential Candidate and will represent them on behalf of our recruiting team. We will never send out a Candidate without meeting them first. · Thorough screening/interviewing Our interviewing and screening process is unparalleled, as we represent only the top 10% of our Candidate pool. Unlike other firms, we are not resume brokers-nor do we function as a volume agency. To demonstrate this point, it is important to note that our Consultants do not utilize a database to make matches-we actually know all of our Candidates on a first name basis and can fully describe the Candidates’ qualifications, experience and personality type without referring to a resume. Each Candidate is interviewed extensively to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, transferable skills, past experience and personality characteristics. We go as far as introducing each Candidate to every Consultant in the office. While this screening process is time consuming, it results in our ability to provide our clients with qualified Candidates who have been evaluated by our entire staff. Our offices include a comprehensive testing packet with the most current software allowing us to assess computer skill capabilities on a variety of applications. We are pleased to test potential Candidates on whatever platforms our clients choose. · How We Find Our Candidates We recognize that advertising for talent is not always 100% effective. Therefore, we utilize that resource on a limited basis. We have learned that our strong personal network throughout the Orange County area has been vital to our success. More than 75% of our placed Candidates were referred to us by a Candidate or existing client. In many cases, our client becomes our Candidate and our Candidate may even become our client! We also utilize a high level of sophisticated networking that supersedes most staffing firms. Dawson & Dawson also encourages a steady flow of referrals by offering a cash incentive to anyone who refers a temporary or direct hire Candidate to us. · Integrity Dawson & Dawson is so confident in our ability to make lasting placements that we are offering a 60 day guarantee on all our placements. We are also proud of the fact that we maintain a less than 5% “fall-off” rate. Our Consultants accomplish this by taking personal pride in each assignment they manage.
