A NEW President and Board for NAWBO-OC

On Tuesday July 1st NAWBO-OC held their July 2014 Dinner Meeting and Board Installation. Irvine City Councilwoman, Christina Shea, installed Dee Elliott of Dee Elliott Consulting as the 2014-2015 NAWBO-OC President along with her Board of Directors. NAWBO-OC is the organization’s largest chapter in the country.

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is the premiere partner of choice for women entrepreneurs seeking tools to accelerate into greater economic, social and political spheres worldwide. Since 1975, NAWBO has helped women evolve their businesses by sharing resources and providing a single, unified voice to shape economic and public policy (http:/nawbo.org/faq.cfm).

NAWBO is all about growing your professional network. No one knows more about growing a professional network than D & D’s very own President, Kathy Dawson. Kathy joins a powerful group of women on NAWBO-OC’s Board of Directors as the President of the Women’s Business Institute (WBI). The WBI mission is to support NAWBO education programs that address the educational needs of women business owners in Orange County.

Congratulations Dee Elliott, on your installment as the 2014-2015 NAWBO-OC President, and to all of the amazing women who now sit on the Board of Directors!
